J15 School Clubs will celebrate National Bible Month with the “Bring Your Bible To School” Project in the Philippines. It is traditionally held on the last monday of January, coinciding with National Bible Day.
Mechanics:
WHAT: National Bible Month #BYBTS
WHO: All schools are invited.
WHERE: Any school that wants to participate.
OBJECTIVE: To encourage Bible reading among students.
DATE: January 30, 2023 (Monday).
What happens on that day?
Once a year, students are encouraged to bring a “Book Bible” during the National Bible Day in their school. On this day, students are mandated by law to honor and read the Bible. The event coincides with the National Bible Month and the National Bible Week.
Schools that register will be provided a volunteer chaplain to read and explain a Bible passage from John Chapter 15. This can be done in a classroom or auditorium set up on that day.
Republic Act 11163 or National Bible Day is observed every last Monday of January each year.

Why should you support it?
Faith in the Judeo-Christian God is part of the Filipino culture. Christmas is defined as the birth of Christ and Holy Week, a solemn tradition. The law has provisions for the Filipino Values Month, whose first pillar is “godliness.”
Likewise, written on our currency bill is “Pinagpala ang bayan na ang Diyos ay ang Panginoon” (Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord). We must protect our culture and tradition by encouraging the young generation to appreciate the value of reading the Bible.
