Three most important “End Times” prophecy unfolding before this generation
The seven seals of God
The seven seals (Revelation 6:1-17, 8:1-5), seven trumpets (Revelation 8:6-9:21; 11:15-19), and seven bowls/vials (Revelation 16:1-21) are three succeeding series of end-times judgments from God. The judgments get progressively worse and more devastating as the end times progress. The seven seals, trumpets, and bowls are connected to one another. (Overview verses: Revelation 8:1-5; Revelation 11:15-19, 15:1-8).
Many are familiar with the signs that include: earthquake, famine, calamities, and wars. Most of these have actually happened, but recent political events confirms that we are indeed drawing closer to end times.
1. Rise of Satanic and False Teachings
The message of Jesus in Matthew 24:5–8 is plain and simple; “Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many,” pertaining to the end times. Apostle Paul warned of an increase in false teaching. “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons” (1 Timothy 4:1).
In the last decade, Pastors and preachers preaching “twisted Biblical truths” have increased with sophistication. Many have actually claimed to be Jesus himself. In the Philippines, we have Apollo Quiboloy who claims to be the son of God. Quiboloy became famous when he predicted a landslide victory for Rodrigo Duterte. In August 2019, he said God has chosen Sarah Duterte to be the next President.
→ Rise of atheism in the Philippines.
2. Modern-Day Persecution
Europe and America was the beacon of Christianity during the 20th century. Today, most Christian churches in Europe are empty or have been converted for secular use. Christians have become a minority and in the last few years, believers in the USA have been facing unparalleled Christian persecution.
According to Dr. David Jeremiah, there are 31 undeniable prophecies on the apocalypse that is already set in motion. Many of them have come to pass. In his book “The Book of Signs,” Dr. Jeremiah mentions the following critical end-times signs:
- Rebirth of the Roman Empire, through a European coalition.
- Consolidation of nations and the coming of a one-world leader.
- Russian alliance and invasion of Israel.
- Rebirth of Babylon and its destruction.
- The love of self and moral decline.
- Radical Islamization.
- Rise of Demonic forces.
- Heavy Christian persecution.
Jesus warned His followers for the hardships to follow. That is why, for Christ’s sake, we delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when we are weak, Jesus is strong. (2 Corinthians 12:10)
→ Ridiculous modern-day Christian persecution.
3. Rebuilding of the Jewish Temple
Critical to the return of Jesus is the rebuilding of the third temple. The first temple was built by King Solomon and destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE. It was restored by Herod the Great with Nehemiah in 20 BCE. On August 30, 70 CE, Roman legions under Emperor Titus destroyed the second temple during the siege of Jerusalem.
The Jews were expelled from Jerusalem and dispersed mostly in Europe. They were able to return to their homeland after 2,000 years when World War 2 ended. The new Nation of Israel was born in 1948.
Only a portion of the western wall remains of the Jewish temple. After the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem in the 7th century, The Islamic shrine called the “Dome of the Rock,” was built directly on top of the Jewish temple in 691 CE. Thus, the rebuilding of the third temple is a dilemma for the Jews today.
Initial preparation of the Third Temple of Jerusalem
Israel has begun the preparation to rebuild the third temple by recreating temple articles. However, the actual building of the temple has not taken place due to political reasons. It is possible that Israel will build it on a different location, with the blessings of UNESCO and the U.N. In addition, the birth of a “flawless” Red Heifer is critical for the first temple sacrifice in modern times.
Waiting for the Red Heifer
The Red Heifer is the most important biblical requirement for the rebuilding of the third temple (Numbers 19). Without it, the temple can’t be rebuilt. The heifer must be born from a natural birth and be entirely red with no more than two non-red hairs on its body. It must also never have been used for any labor or have been impregnated. (CBN)
Apostle John saw the third temple
In Revelation 11:1-2, Apostle John was given a snapshot of the Temple Mount during the final three and one-half years, preceding the Second Coming of Jesus and the Battle of Armageddon.
