bible not burn

The Bibles and the cross were unscathed

A massive fire burned Freedom Ministries Church to the ground for several hours. The Coal City Fire Department said that the building was so hot that at one point, the firefighters had to back out to protect themselves. They really thought everything would turn to ashes but were amazed to discover all the Bibles were unscathed.

It could only be a miracle

Many said it was a miracle, the fire department themselves felt God’s presence. According to their official Facebook account, “not a single Bible was burned and not a single cross was harmed, not a single firefighter was hurt!” Everyone was in awe.

God’s word is alive and will come to pass

The fire happened on a cold very early morning on March 3, 2019. No one was injured and though the fire destroyed the place of worship, God’s word was preserved – literary. The firefighters also said in their page that “though odds were against us, God was not.” While skeptics say its a coincidence, what happened was clearly a miracle, a statement God wants everyone to know.

The firefighters also asked for prayers for Pastor Phil and Candice Farrington and the congregation. They will need a lot of help to rebuild the church. “We will fight the enemy and not let him hold us down… Freedom is full of love and the Farrington’s have always given us nothing but love and support. Now it’s our turn to return it back to them… In the midst of the smoke, you can see Jesus. He was there with us,” according to their official announcement on their Facebook page.
