Gay YouTuber Anthony Quintal (Lohanthony) becomes a Christian and turns to Jesus
Born Catholic, he bullied others just as he was bullied when he was young. Then came fame at 10, where he gained both notoriety and fame as one of the earliest and youngest gay influencers. He instantly gained thousands of “friends” and millions of followers and even came out with the gay icon Ru Paul in one of his segments.
His childhood was filled with attention as a young social media star. But even that was not enough to make him truly happy. He did crazy things in the past. Anthony stole stuff, bullied others, and did heavy drugs.
Despite having over 2 million followers on Twitter and Instagram, Lohanthony has long been yearning for love. Throughout this period, God has been pursuing him relentlessly.
WHY CONVERSION THERAPY DOES NOT WORK.
Effortlessly funny, bubbly, and always radiant
Anthony “Lohanthony” Quintal first sparked into the limelight in 2012 with his short video “Calling all the basic bitches.” He was nominated for Teen Choice Award, hosted on MTV, and released an album.
Among his most popular YouTube videos are “Cinnamon Challenge” and “Why I got expelled from First Grade, which garnered” which has over 3 Million combined.
He admits being a victim of great deception.
DOES GOD LOVE ME EVEN IF I AM GAY?

Fans concerned for Lohanthony’s decision
As an openly gay internet star, fans were shocked when he came out to say he abandoned his “gay-cisgender-transgender” life and became a “believer in Christ.”
After getting out of the limelight, YouTube videos discussing his sudden disappearance surfaced, posing numerous unanswered questions. People wondered why he left behind internet stardom, fame, and financial success.
Among these discussions, some individuals criticized and ridiculed his preaching, claiming that his words were “harmful to the gay community.” A fan page, “Lohantony archive,” was created, clearly showing that his fans miss him.
Criticism and support
Fans speculate Anthony underwent conversion therapy, something the gay community condemns and calls abusive and transphobic. While others praised his efforts to come out as a Christian, more fans criticized and ridiculed him.
A fan said his newfound faith is “sketchy,” another said, “You just don’t somehow find God at 21,” and many expressed their sadness.
Anthony Quintal: “In pursuit of holiness”
Anthony’s testimony is not easy. The road to transformation is long, filled with challenges and temptations. But nothing is impossible of Christ, who alone has the power to transform us from darkness into light.
He was trapped in the lust of the eyes, porn, and masturbation. He has always felt separated from God, but He has always been there, willing to show me a way out, he said.
He expressed that pursuing same-sex attraction left him unfulfilled, and he found fulfillment and love in his faith in Jesus. He emphasized his belief in abandoning all forms of lust and fornication, regardless of sexual orientation.
“My relationship to God wasn’t right, so naturally so, I fell down a rabbit hole of trying to replace God in my life with views [of my videos], with subscribers, with meet and greets, with likes, with attention, with shares, with you name it — leading up to the big bang in my teenage life when I discovered drugs,” he said.
Renouncing the gay life
Lohantony renounced the homosexual lifestyle and urged others to abandon lust and fornication, regardless of sexual orientation, knowing the consequences of sinful actions that will lead to God’s judgment on the disobedient.
“Christ’s truth, story, and unconditional love are there for us,” he said in his “outcoming video” as a Christian. Lohanthony quotes the following Bible verses to encourage those struggling with gayness, same-sex attraction.
Lohanthony shares his life-changing Bible verses:
I JOHN 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17-19
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…”
1 PETER 5:8-9
Be sober and vigilant because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
LEVITICUS 19:31
Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
