High School Micah Price Punished for Jesus Mention

High School graduate Micah Price punished for Jesus mention in speech, violating school policy

A high school senior in Campbell, Kentucky, was denied his diploma for going off-script during a commencement address and mentioning Jesus Christ.

Micah Price diverged from his pre-approved speech because he was emboldened to honor Jesus Christ. His reason was simple, “I simply cannot hold back who Christ is in my life; he is everything to me,” he said in an interview with Fox 19.

PRAYERS BANNED IN SCHOOLS.

Sharing the Gospel through his speech

He is the light, He is the way, the truth and the life,” Price said. “Class, everyone in the audience today, I’m here to tell you if you don’t have any of those things in your life, you can’t seem to find the answer, my Lord and Savior is your answer. He will give you the truth, the way and the life.

The principal withheld his diploma and was asked if he needed to plead with the board for his case.

Although Price stood by his decision, acknowledging he went against school policy and deserved to be punished and harbored no regrets, it is both sad and ironic that acknowledging Jesus is officially censored in the American public school system.
