Anxiety and Depressive Disorder
Neurosis is a mental disorder. Today, it’s referred to as ‘Depressive or Anxiety Disorder’. Symptoms include extreme feelings of anxiety, sadness, depression, anger, irritability, or low self-worth.
Neurotic, Neuroticism, Psychosis, Bipolar
Neuroticism is chronic pessimism or anxiety. If the person begins to have hallucinations or delusions, it becomes psychosis. Psychosis can be a symptom of schizophrenia or bipolar (abnormal lows to manic highs).
These disorders may be because of genes, brain chemicals, environment, drug abuse, or trauma. Nonetheless, they all have symptoms of anxiety and depression.

You don’t have to live defeated lives
Neurosis leads to selfishness and harm. In other words, it is a sinful behavior pattern. Since doctors still do not know the exact cause, nor have they found the right cure, faith remains the only cure for a neurotic mind.
Drugs only treat the symptoms, the root cause. Only God can bring healing to our corrupt mind and body. Ask Jesus to heal your heart and mind.
