Staggering influences that can make or break the need for Christians revival in America
Kanye Omari West or “ye,” is a rapper, singer, and songwriter, and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He is the most Grammy-awarded artist and one of Time magazine 100 most influential people, twice. He is married to Kim Kardashian, who’s famous for her curvaceous outfits. They’re Hollywood’s power couple. Kanye alone is worth 240 Million. With almost 30 million followers, he could be a formidable preacher just by making a tweet.
Full of himself
The incident at VMA in 2009 tops Kanye’s notoriety. Taylor Swift won the Best Female Video over Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” As Swift began her acceptance speech, West dashed and took the mic to say that Beyoncé deserved the award. The same thing happened in 2005 when he lost at MTV Europe Music Awards. The arrogant Kanye took the mic and ranted for not winning. In 2013, he released the blasphemous “Yeezus” album, with a track titled “I Am a God.”
After his mother died in 2007, his success seems inadequate. Then in 2014, he shocked everyone when he referred to himself as a Christian during a concert. However, it was a vicious cycle of depression from then on until Kanye re-affirmed his faith in Twitter on January 1, 2019. He was quickly criticized and accused of making money out of religion.

Are we seeing God’s hand or more blasphemies from West?
Kanye is straightforward! Just by being himself, he is able to reach out to the black community, who for so long has been plagued with drugs and violence. Kanye recently told a crowd at George Washington University: “I want to let you know that I am not here for your entertainment. We are here to spread the gospel.” To date, thousands of black Americans have responded for his call to sexual purity, righteous living, and faith in Jesus.

Kanye will shake a generation
It’s easy to judge someone like Kanye West. His method of “sharing the Gospel” is out of the box. His wife Kim told Jimmy Kimmel: “There’s no praying, there’s no sermon, no word, just music, and just a feeling — and it’s Christian.” Brad Pitt, Jaden Smith, and Justin Bieber joined Kanye in some of the services. It could be just a fad, but it could also be how God is reaching this particular generation. True Christian or not, God’s love is REAL to anyone who believes who Jesus is and follows Him. Kanye will surely bear fruit if he’s having the real thing.
‘Jesus is King’ Gospel Album
In the heat of the issue, Kanye dropped a Christian album with a song totally inspired by Christian-owned restaurant Chick-fil-A whose facing flak over its LGBT stand. In the song Closed on Sunday, West sings “Closed on Sunday, you my Chick-fil-A. Hold the selfies, put the ’gram away. Get your family, y’all hold hands and pray.” While doing the album, Kanye did the unthinkable, he asked collaborators to fast & not have premarital sex while working on Jesus Is King album.

Thousands are being saved
Just a few weeks after Kanye released his first Gospel Album, Jesus Is King debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Thousands have been coming to Christ as a result of Kanye’s unorthodox way of sharing the Gospel. Pastor Chris Priestley of Crossroads WV puts it this way; “If Kanye West thinks for ONE second that calling on the name of Jesus will somehow forgive a lifetime of misogyny, blasphemy, profanity, and sexual immorality, he’s absolutely RIGHT!” (1 Timothy 1:15)
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6)
Career suicide with Trump?
In a bold move that could destroy his career, he announced that he’s on President Trump‘s team, dividing leftists and conservative fans. Trump is extremely hated by left-liberals and atheists. Witches even cast spells against Trump and any ally of his will face the same wrath. Ironically, Trump gets the support of many Evangelical leaders. By late 2019, Kanye claims to have been “fully converted to Christianity,” and would only sing Gospel songs.
