Lake Ingle insisted there are only two genders, and his feminist Professor asked him to apologize in front of the class
Conservative Senior college student Lake Ingle attended a Christianity class at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As a Religious Studies major, he was firm in saying during class that “there are only two genders.” That was his opinion, and he cited biology as proof.
In a Fox interview, he said that her “feminist” Professor, Alison Downie, booted him from class and asked him not to return. “You are barred from attending this class in accordance with the Classroom Disruption policy,” IUP Provost Timothy Moerland told Ingle in a letter.
Unconstitutional and a violation of Ingle’s right
A Letter of Complaint was sent to various federal authorities of IUP. There was also an outpouring of support and outcry for Ingle when he posted the ruling on his Facebook account. The school eventually reinstated Ingle a month later.
“My professor is violating my First Amendment rights because of the fact that my views and ideology are different from hers… she took it on herself to silence and embarrassed me – bullies me – for speaking up in class,” Ingle said.
Political correctness in school
A student was allegedly suspended from athletics for saying there are “only two genders.” The Exeter High School freshman identified in a court document as M.P. received a one-game football suspension because of a text with another student outside the school. He sued the school in 2021.
In the U.K., a student was also suspended for insisting there are “only two genders.” The 17-year-old was secretly filmed being reprimanded by his teacher. He was thrown out of class for ‘not being inclusive.’
