Four Warnings in the Bible about LGBTQ PRIDE March
In 2022, extremist pastor Jonathan Shelly of Stedfast church condemned PRIDE March and the gay community. He said that it is God’s will for gay people who practice same-sex to be sentenced to death and shot.
Gay people would have been stoned to death as they would for adulterers during Biblical times. In modern Israel, the Jews have not only continued to reject Jesus, but many embraced liberal ideologies, including a PRIDE March in Jerusalem.
DOES GOD SEND GAY PEOPLE TO HELL?
1. Flaunting sin to mock God
Celebrating Father, Mother, or Veteran’s Day is only for a day, while the “gay lifestyle” is a month-long recognition. America is flaunting the celebration of sin with PRIDE while doing away with Christmas, and PRIDE is the worst among the seven deadly sins.
The Bible is clear regarding same-sex relationships and gay living: It is a detestable sin (Leviticus 20:13). Flaunting it in PRIDE March, which has turned into a global event, is reminiscent of Sodom and Gomorrah that invites damnation.
Be transformed by the renewing of the mind
Though some traits may feel inherent, like a difficult temperament or same-gender attraction, the Bible considers acting on them a sin. That is why we need God’s grace through Jesus to transform and renew our minds into the mind of Christ.
A faithful follower of Jesus would choose not to obey or celebrate his sinful nature. God tells His children to “come out and be separated.”
Isaiah 3:9
The look on their faces testifies against them, and like Sodom, they flaunt their sin; they do not conceal it. Woe to them, for they have brought disaster on themselves.
Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived; God is not mocked
PRIDE is the worst among the seven sins.
2. After PRIDE comes destruction
Towards the last days of earth, people will continue to indulge in pleasure as if life is an unending journey. Then the Lord Jesus will come like a thief in the night, along with His army of angels—to destroy the earth (1 Thessalonians 5).
Destruction doesn’t have to come immediately to those who mock God by bragging about their sin. Satan, who they serve, will join them in hell on judgment day—for “evil shall destroy the wicked” (Psalm 34:21).
Humility is the opposite of PRIDE; those who humble themselves will be exalted, but PRIDE leads to destruction.
PROVERBS 8:13
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: PRIDE, arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
PROVERBS 16:18
PRIDE comes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
JAMES 4:10
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you.
PRIDE leads to destruction.

3. Love is NOT Love
God’s love is unconditional
God’s love is unconditional—if you are His child. He knows His own even before they were born (Jeremiah 1:5). When they sin, He is patient with them, granting repentance to be transformed to His will (2 Peter 3:9).
But a true child of God does not continually sin and parade it. He tells His children to come out and be separated and hate sin. He receives those who humble themselves, repent, and seek Him.
God’s love is conditional
The prerequisite is “if you believe” (John 3:16). His eyes are on the righteous, those who do good and obey, and He promises to protect and deliver them from ALL afflictions. But He is against those who do evil (Psalm 34:14-22).
God loves those who love His son Jesus, and those who reject Him will be judged (John 14:21). Therefore, “Love is not Love” in the Bible if it means loving sin.
It is actually “unloving” for Christians to affirm the LGBTQIA lifestyle, knowing hell awaits those who practice these things.
JOHN 14:21
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. My Father will love the one who loves me, and I will love them and show myself to them.
It’s “unloving” to affirm LGBTQIA lifestyle.
REPENTANCE IS NECESSARY FOR SALVATION.
4. God’s stand on sodomy has not changed
God’s abomination of sodomy has not changed. If a gay person justifies that “I was born this way,” Jesus said, “You must be born again” to enter God’s kingdom. Even if gay feelings are natural, these are sinful nature. Repent and turn away from what God hates.
Jesus may have set us free from the law of sin and death, but we will all face God’s judgment.
1 CORINTHIANS 6:9
The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,
Repent and turn away from what God hates.
