Woodstock Coach fired for asserting two genders

Woodstock Union High School Coach David Bloch was fired for asserting there are only two genders

Coach David Bloch initiated the snowboarding program at Woodstock Union High School in Vermont’s Upper Valley. For three years, he solely managed the program to offer students an activity to compete in, driven by his belief in their potential.

In the 12 years since its establishment, the snowboarding team consistently achieved top-three statewide rankings. Notably, at least three of Coach Bloch’s snowboarders secured state championships.

Suddenly, Bloch is irrelevant.

During a quick private conversation, Coach Bloch, without using names, respectfully expressed his belief in gender differences in a conversation about a transwoman snowboarder competing in an all-women’s competition.

Respectful of sharing his belief

As a devout Roman Catholic, Bloch also used science to share his perspective on trans athletes competing in women’s sports.

All things seemed to be fine until the next day. Windsor Central Supervisory Union Superintendent Sherry Sousa accused Bloch of using “disparaging names” that created “an objectively offensive environment and constituted harassment based on gender identity.”

Sousa may have been biased against Bloch because she is believed to have a child who identifies as transgender, according to an article in the NY Post.

Apparently, discussing and sharing gender biology led to the loss of his job, a clear violation of the First Amendment.

The attorneys from the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) are actively backing Coach Bloch to defend his constitutional rights.

Once more, they are exposing schools that infringe on these rights due to ideological beliefs and essentially undermining religious freedom.

HOW TO KNOW IF IT’S CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION.
